Now running for over four years, The “Adventures” campaign has followed our party through many trials and treasures.
First we joined them in Shepburg, Willonia, where they were tasked to retrieve a priceless mystery item. They traveled to The Heartlands to seek safety after that mission, where they gathered information, and found work. They got up to a handful of interesting things, including a social luncheon with an influential family, research on ancient history, and attending a wedding in the hopes of cashing in on a bounty. Later, this need for work led them on a security mission into the Brittle Bog, where things began to get more exciting and more dangerous. Uncovering strange enchantments came at a great cost to the group. Because of this, they traveled into the dark and ancient Nettle Forest, in the hopes of completing an honorable task for a friend. There, they encountered some truly trying challenges therein, but returned home with a new friend.
Now that they have successfully returned to more familiar territory (except for Omeki), they have taken on another quest which has lead them back into Willonia, this time in Baodet, a city which hosts a world-renown event that Cragthorn hopes will grant him a clue to his unanswered questions — but behind this bustling city’s desirable trade lies a dark underworld that is linked to both Isla and Olivia’s pasts…

Public Character Registry
In July, 2025 we began creating characters together live on Twitch in the new system we have been creating. While I kept up with most of the character posting here on the website, but after a hundred or so it became a little more work to edit and add new ones to an already-long list of art. I pivoted to posting the new characters off-site (patreon), as a part of my art content instead of “official” Beanut Lands content. You can still find the original Public Registry of stream characters linked below.
I may return to adding stream characters here on the website in the future, if I can find a way to implement it with minimal extra work.

Public Bestiary
In October, 2025 we had a creature feature month, where we switched things up and created animals for the world instead of people. This was very popular, and we created over 80 different creatures in one month! You can see the list of creatures we created by following the link below.

Discord Community
Currently, our Discord server consists solely of the participants of the original game design and the players who have participated in tabletop sessions. We expect the future of The Beanut Lands to benefit from conversations, interactive activities, server events, and feedback, so we will eventually open the server to those who are interested in joining. For now, please be patient as we put the final polishes on our system’s foundational mechanics.
About Us

drewcy
drewcy is a freelance artist and variety content creator. When he first conceptualized The Beanut Lands, he brought friends together to partipicate to make something fun and magical as a group. He is a lead developer of the tabletop system, official artist for our human-made illustrations (screw AI), and website designer.

Justin
Justin is a lifetime tabletop player/DM, one of the original contributors of the Beanut Lands board game, and is now a lead developer of the tabletop system.
Story of The Beanut Lands
Eureka
The original Beanut Lands concept was envisioned in April of 2020 to make a board game to play on a Minecraft Server called Eureka. Six unique sections were created around the map, each with unique items to collect, monsters to battle, and monuments to explore. At the end of their travels, each player would get points for the items they had collected, based on their value. Being a fairly large undertaking for one person, drewcy invited 5 friends to assist with the construction of the board game world – and so each of the 6 Lands of the original game was assigned to a different person.
The Sequel
After some time, the Minecraft server continued its seasonal ‘reset’ to a new world, and though the Beanut Lands was saved in a file for posterity, it was no longer available to play on the public server. Brainstorming for this sequel to the original board game began in November of 2020, with 6 new Lands to explore. It remained unfinished, but the inspiration that dreaming up a new set of lands sparked is what started the idea that The Beanut Lands could make a compelling fantasy world.
Twitch Streaming
After a little more work on the sequel’s themes, the idea of making a full-fledged fantasy world map for the Beanut Lands started to crop up. Drewcy had been streaming a good deal of art on Twitch around that time, and so he began creating a map for fun. Comments were made by friends that it would be a fun world to run a TTRPG in. Drewcy approached Justin with the offer to co-create the setting and lore for a more serious (but still silly) world that had a deeper meaning. Characters and locations were added beyond the original 12 Lands, such as the Heartlands and the Hinlands, to tie the geography together. History was created, cultures were brought to life, and with the help of the invited players, the world began to feel like more than just a silly idea.
The Future of The Beanut Lands
We are in the process of building a fully-customized Tabletop System that is centered around the lore and history of our Species, Lands, Cultures, and History. Our new d10 system will have exploding and collapsing dice, unique Attributes and Skills, a Mana-based magic system, and a modular leveling system that uses an Experience Web reminiscent of video games like Path of Exile and Enshrouded. See more about our system on the System page.
