These are some of the special features you will experience as a Paladin:

Divine Sense

Your heightened senses can detect great evil or powerful good.

With this ability, you can detect nearby creatures, places, and objects with good or evil auras.

Lay on Hands

Your blessed touch can heal wounds.

You can touch a creature and draw power from the pool of healing power to restore a number of hit points to that creature.

Fighting Style

You are specialized in a particular set of tactics.

You choose one Fighting Style from the Paladin list, gaining you a benefit in specific circumstances.

Spellcasting

You have learned to draw on divine magic through meditation and prayer to cast spells as a cleric does.

Starting at 2nd level, Paladins gain access to their class’ list of spells.

Sacred Oath

Upon reaching 3rd level, you solidify your commitment as a paladin by swearing the binding oath that will shape your path forever. Each different oath grants you access to unique features and powers at higher levels, enhancing your abilities as you delve deeper. These features encompass specialized spells and the Channel Divinity capability, empowering you with the distinct blessings of your sworn oath.

Oath of the Crown

Oath of Devotion

The Oath of Devotion binds paladins to the noblest principles of justice, virtue, and order. These holy warriors, known as cavaliers or white knights, embody the ideal of chivalry, upholding honor and pursuing justice for the greater good. They are guided by strict codes of conduct and often revere gods of law and goodness, drawing inspiration from angelic beings in their unwavering dedication.

Oath of Vengeance

The Oath of Vengeance is a solemn pledge to bring justice upon those who have committed grave offenses. In the face of heinous acts, such as the slaughter of innocents or the defiance of divine will, paladins arise as avengers, setting aside personal purity to ensure righteousness is restored. These dark knights are driven by their unwavering commitment to deliver justice above all else.
