Fighters share an unparalleled mastery with weapons and armor, and a thorough knowledge of the skills of combat. They are well acquainted with death, both meting it out and staring it defiantly in the face.

Fighter Specializations
These are some of the special features you will experience as a Fighter:
Fighting Style
You are specialized in a particular set of tactics.
You choose one Fighting Style from the Fighter list, gaining you a benefit in specific circumstances.
Second Wind
You have a limited well of stamina that you can draw on to protect yourself from harm.
You can use a bonus action to regain HP once per long rest.
Action Surge
You can push yourself beyond your normal limits for a moment.
You can take an additional action once per long rest, and twice starting at 17th level.
Extra Attack
Nothing will stop you from taking down an enemy.
You gain at extra attack starting at 5th level. This number of attacks increases at 11th and 20th level.
Martial Archetype
At 3rd level, you choose an archetype that you strive to emulate in your combat styles and techniques. The archetype you choose grants you features at 3rd level and again at 7th, 10th, 15th, and 18th level.
Arcane Archer
The Arcane Archer is an elite warrior skilled in a distinct method of archery, infusing their arrows with magic to achieve supernatural feats.
Banneret
A banneret is a knight who inspires greatness in others through brave deeds, capable of transforming a poorly equipped militia into a ferocious war band and awakening courage and conviction in their allies.
Battle Master
The Battle Master is a fighter archetype that embraces martial techniques as an academic pursuit, delving into the realms of history, theory, and artistry to become a well-rounded fighter of great skill and knowledge.
