College of
Eloquence
The College of Eloquence specializes in persuasive oratory, using the power of well-crafted speeches to sway others. These bards excel at combining logical arguments with dramatic wordplay, captivating both the minds and hearts of their listeners, making them adept at winning over skeptics and stirring up emotions in large crowds.
College of
Glamour
These bards possess the ability to captivate and delight others through their magical performances, which can even influence captors to release them unharmed or calm enraged creatures. While some villainous bards exploit their powers to enslave communities, the heroic ones employ their magic to bring joy to the oppressed and dismantle oppressive forces.
College of
Lore
The College of Lore is home to bards who possess vast knowledge across various subjects, drawing information from scholarly texts and folk tales alike. Devoted to beauty and truth rather than allegiance to rulers or deities, these bards often serve as honest heralds or advisors to nobles. They gather in libraries, colleges, and social events to share their wisdom, exposing corruption, debunking falsehoods, and satirizing figures of authority.
College of
Swords
The College of Swords is home to bards known as blades, who entertain with impressive weapon skills while leading double lives as assassins or champions of justice. Mistrusted by fellow performers, they often become enforcers for thieves’ guilds or pursue solo adventures when their secret activities are exposed.
College of
Whispers
Bards of the College of Whispers, while appearing like any other bard, exploit their welcomed status to uncover secrets and manipulate others through extortion and threats. Feared and despised by many bards, they often hide their true nature, pretending to follow different colleges or maintaining secrecy to infiltrate and exploit positions of power.
